APPOINTMENT OF A CITIZEN TO THE OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE FOR THE INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT ON SCHOOL FACILITY PLANNING
Description
The Interlocal Agreement on School Facility Planning, Section 10, calls for each party to appoint a citizen representative to a committee with responsibility to monitor implementation of the ILA. School Board members were asked in July to nominate a citizen for consideration. Three individuals were nominated: (1) Mr. Dan DeLeo, an attorney and active member of the 2006-07 Capital Advisory Task Force; (2) Mr. Norm Lupo, a Venice resident active in governmental affairs; and (3) Mrs. Janice Mee, retired School Board member.
Recommendation
#46-That the School Board of Sarasota County appoint ________________________
as its representative to the Citizen's Oversight Committee to the Interlocal Agreement on School Facility Planning for a period through February, 2009.
